Second Wave RoboLift High – AI‑READY tripod
The tripod of the future has a motor, a network connection and is AI‑READY.
The Second Wave RoboLift High is a compact camera tripod with motorised height adjustment, an integrated wheeled base and a load capacity of 15 kg. The camera height can be adjusted between 106 and 206 cm using the supplied remote control.
With the separately available Second Wave Robotic Data Box , the height axis can be integrated into a network via VISCA and controlled centrally. RoboLift High therefore represents a new generation of tripods: motorised, networked and open to automated production workflows.
The fourth controllable axis for PTZ cameras
PTZ cameras control pan, tilt and zoom. RoboLift High adds controllable camera height to these functions and therefore the missing fourth axis.
Different shooting heights can be set without direct intervention at the tripod. This allows the camera to be adjusted to seated or standing people as well as changing image compositions.
Conventional cameras can also be used. With these cameras, only the height is adjusted by motor.
AI‑READY and open to the future
Network control provides the basis for integration into central control systems as well as open and closed AI systems. The specific function depends on the respective software and integration. Integrated AI image analysis is not included.
Integration into Bitfocus Companion is planned. Until development is complete, it is not yet part of the standard functionality.
RoboLift High is the first AI‑READY tripod in the RoboLift product class developed by Second Wave and transfers the functions of professional Motorised Pedestals to compact camera tripods.
For studios and mobile productions
RoboLift High is suitable for:
PTZ, streaming and Visual Radio productions
interviews and corporate videos
training, hybrid and conference studios
mobile multi-camera productions
trade fairs and events
product and advertising shoots
teleprompter setups within the permitted load capacity
Fewer manual adjustments in everyday production
The motorised height adjustment facilitates recurring adjustments and saves time during setup. The integrated wheeled base enables repositioning on suitable level floors. Integrated levelling supports horizontal alignment.
The base can be folded for transport and storage. The unit weighs 6.7 kg and has a transport length of 70 cm. An independent power supply is optionally available.
